Little personal update
So today wasn’t great, but it was better than yesterday. The first hour of my art history class today was learning how to use the library catalogue and journal databases. Frankly, a waste of my time that I could have used to sleep in a bit if I had known it would be a whole hour, but I imagine that the first years in the class benefited a lot. The lecture was pretty interesting.

Can’t stop blowing my nose. I hate being sick and sad at the same time.
Tangent: Sick and sad, pretty sure there’s a ska song by that name that I used to love. I should dig it up tomorrow.
Gonna try and figure something out for dinner before I have to leave for volunteering. Might leave that early cause I feel like 10lbs of crap in a 5lb bag.

Taking some rather strong medication (hurrah for Buckley’s in caplet form) and crashing. Hopefully I will sleep well enough to be functioning for my driving lesson tomorrow.

It’s so stupid. At 7:30 tonight in my class I could barely keep my eyes open but now at 11:45 I can’t fall asleep :( My face and head hurt. Blargh.

Can’t believe how much money I spent on underwear today. Stupid weight gain. :( I still need a new pair of jeans since only 2 out of my previous 6 or so fit. Since I wear jeans almost every day of the week… one pair that’s a little looser is justifiable. Maybe a pair of black pants too cause the only pair I have now are scrubs and even those are tight.

Getting ready to go to class. I don’t particularly like the campus I’m going to, since it is so mind bogglingly busy but on the bright side it isn’t raining today! And, because of where the building my class is in, I can get off the bus before the enormous traffic jam that is subway construction :) See you guys tonight I think!

New glasses: It's like seeing through f16 instead...
Finally got my new glasses. Originally they had polycarbonate lenses, which are “impact resistant” and “featherlite.” Unfortunately, I had major chromatic abberation with them and it was pretty much nausea inducing. The shop replaced the poly lenses with plastic for free (should have been an extra 55$) which was nice of them but the optician said 1% of people get the...

School has started, including driving lessons, and so has volunteering. I’m also still working regularly albeit less often than during the summer. I’m only at school 3 days a week but two of those days include a lot of commuting. I don’t know why but I’m consistently waking up exhausted whether I sleep 7, 8, 9 or 15 hours and often with a headache. It is making it...

Finished my first class of 2nd year today! An art history class with two essays, two tests, and two exams. On the bright side, the 2nd essay can be on a photographer! I’m excited for that :)
Just posting quickly on my phone.. have to take the shuttl3e to the other campus now for my first class on immigration.
